When I got married I remember running around to multiple art/craft stores (with small wedding departments) and searching through tons of online sites where I wasn’t quite sure about color, size, etc. This was on top of running around looking for a dress.

What do you think about a retail shop that specializes in all things wedding? Carrying invitations, favors, bridal party gifts, guest books, decorations, etc. I would even have an area for local photographers to display their portfolios and hold monthly events like dress shows, wedding cake tasting, decor ideas, etc. Basically, I would carry everything except for dresses/tuxes and I would work with local bakeries, venues, bridal shops, photographers, limo companies to show off their merch/service as well.

Sound like it would be a hit? Any ideas or comments are welcome.

We have a 2 1/2 yr. old daughter and her room looks so plain. We have her toddler bed that is oak that we bought from Toy’s R Us and a couple of small book shelves and all her toys, the wall has a middle border of pink and blue (pastel) colored flowers. I want maybe a dresser and some wall art and maybe something to store toys in, even though she takes all her toys out and scatters them everwhere. Any suggestions? It doesn’t have to be new…I can’t ever find the great blowout sales where everything is marked down, except for clothing, I’m good at finding sales on clothes…anyway, any ideas? We also have a new baby girl due in June, and we already have a crib and changing table, so maybe a dresser (in oak) for her room would be great too…any thoughts? We are in the central Texas area. Thanks!

I’m starting a new company, and the basic premise is custom art creations. We will be specializing in home decor, business icon creations, etc. I don’t really want to use my name in the business name. I want the name to be a little bit feminine, because a lot of the v.c.s see opportunity in the home decor market…. (primarily women). Help!!

Hi all
i just turned 21 and trying to realise my dream of having an online store.
I love jewelery and i am thinking of specialising on bohemian , jamaican and african jewelery.
i will eventually sell decor, arts and other acessories like belts and purses.
Right now i need help with some trendy cute names.
I have already tried the following and i dont know if they are catchy..
1. safari closet
2.xpressionsbymimi
i tried using something with my name “mimi” or “mimi’s closet” but when i google it, there are thousands of other businesses that already used that name, so i dont know.
i really want something that doesnt sound biased or excludes a group of people because i think the jewelery is wearable for all ages and races..
thanks in advance for your answers..

No attacks here, on me or each other – - just please, I’d really be interested, people talk about quality of life – - – - what does that mean to you? And no attacks on Bush or the Democrats either – - – no “quality of life means no Pelosi” or “no Karl Rove” – seriously, what do you look for, why do you live where you live, what do you like about it? To quote Fee Waybill, “What do you want from life?”

Me I love my kids, I love the game of soccer, I love playing soccer with my kids, I love art, women wine and song – I love beauty. I love creation – I collect antique Asian (mostly Chinese) pieces, lot of cermics but some statues and carvings as well – not paintings though since I frame my kids’ paintings and hang those up – they do a lot of abstract pictures so it actually matches well with the rest of the decor. I love food way too much – and music: jazz, blues, classic r+b, some rock, some old country, some classical. And the beach, the sunrise over the Atlantic…

In the film “Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day” what would you say is the interior decor style of the apartment Dylessia Lafrosse occupies? Could it be Art Deco? Or something else?
