Artists: would you want your paintings back in this case?

My boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend is an artist. When they were together, she painted him a series of very nice original works, and they stayed on his walls until recently. When they broke up (almost two years ago), she didn’t ask for them back. Now he’s moving into a new place, and they don’t fit in as well with the decor, plus he feels strange keeping up his ex’s art.

Should he mail them back to her? Give them away on Craigslist? Something else? They are not on speaking terms, nor are they likely to ever be, but the pieces are rather nice and it seems like a shame to just throw art away.

I do know Newman Decor had various artists who supplied art to enhance furniture sales.I have two airbrushed watercolors,the artist signed”harris”the watercolors depict three (snow)skiiers in each painting and the faces seem to have an oriental appearence.The frames are wood and look to have plaster as well.approx size looks like 18 in.x 28 in.They are framed behind glass and have a forty’s flair to them.Many Thank-x !

A while back, I saw a piece of art in the wall decor section of Target. I remember it had the look of a painting and it was of a motorcycle (possibly a Harley?), and it was red, blacks and tan. I thought if I could find out the artist name, I might be able to find it online. Did anyone out there purchase this?

I’m painting some designs in my twin baby cousins’ nursery. I’m doing a few zoo animals that match their nursery decor. I already have the drawings on the walls now I just have to paint them. What type of paint should I use and where do I get it? I’ve read that I should use acryllic paint, but this can;t just be the type I would by in Michael’s art store can it? Also where can I get thin but sturdy brushes? Thanks!
