Soon I’ll be opening my boutique “Crush”. In it I buy, sell and trade clothing. (I also buy brand new clothing from wholesalers.)
I sell both name brand and non-name brand clothing and DIY/vintage items. I also sell shoes,handbags, accessories, makeup, unique home decor, art and cute cookies.
I have made the entrance a lounge. This room contains the check out/front desk and makeup display. It also has a love seat, coffee table, TV, magazine rack and free coffee/cookies. I will have coloring books and toys for children.
The next room has all the clothing and accessories sorted into different sizes/categories. Connected to this room is the changing room.
I have made the entire store have a comfortable, artsy and non-cluttered feel to it.
The pricing is pretty low, an Abercrombie shirt might cost you around 9 dollars.

-I have a variety of sizes.
-I have a monthly raffle for 50 dollars of clothing/makeup/ect.
-Local artists may display/sell their works in my store
-I give a free all natural lip balm to all purchases over twenty dollars.
I’d actually be making money with the raffle, since I’ll be selling tickets for it.
and I get the lip balm for free, since my friend has a tiny lip balm/lip gloss company she’s starting.
nice but i think for you to make a profit raise the price a little bit but anyway i think you should separate the clothing by store and size so everyone that is looking for a certain store doesn’t have to search every rack to find that one store also for the makeup if you don’t have a makeup service to help them find their perfect make that and also i say sell some hair items too good luck!
I really love the idea! The main problems for me when shopping are that the sizes/cuts aren’t for me, so having a massive selection of different sizes would be wonderful. And a nice thing when shopping is to have good service in fitting rooms, it ***** to have to wait 10 minutes to get in and then have someone walk in on you while you are changing. Well yeah I’m sure this is going to be a hit store!
Make the store “mod” looking. You’d attract people to it.

i think that is THE cutest thing ive ever heard of! i really hope your store is by minneapolis! omg that is adorable! i would definatly shop at your store 24/7! i would ask to live in it! i love stores that have furniture for sale along with clothing and that stuff. it sounds like your store is the whole package! i love that idea of makeup, clothing, accesories, funriture, art, and free things that you get when you walk in or buy something! i love when you get free things at stores! its super fun! i really cant say anything else? where are you?!? i really do not have suggestions. ummm. do you have jewlery? if not then maybe you would want to add jewelwry to the mix. like antique jewelry like lockets and things that are really different but beautiful. umm. i dont have much else to say other than i wish you were in my family so i could hang out at the boutique! ummm. yeah pretty much. you seem very smart, creative, clever, talented and cool. good luck!!!!!!! hope i helped!!!
