Ben Jorj Harris created art for Newman Decor. He signed “Harris” lower right – Newman Decor tag on the back states that the piece is an original airbrush watercolor #1324. Ben Jorj Harris is listed in Davenport’s, Falk (Who was Who in American Art) – on AskArt, ArtNet and ArtPrice. He was a cover artist for magazines such as Collier’s and also worked on sheet music covers for many of the famous shows of the 1940’s. He lived from 1904-1957. He and his wife pioneered the airbrush craft.
