The site has to be crawled and indexed by Google and Yahoo. This can take weeks, even months.
Every search engine has a ‘crawler’, which is a program that scans and reads web page content and links to determine if it is relevant or not. Crawlers scan web pages daily, weekly, and even monthly. It just depends on the search engine.
The fastest way to get indexed for free is to submit your site to Google at:
Then wait a few weeks to see if the site gets indexed. Keep in mind that advertisers spend tons of money to be indexed immediately. Advertising is an investment, and search engines are no different.
(same as above). If after a while, its still not there, you will need to manually submit your URL to Yahoo and Google. This is done by filling out a short online form
